After being a member for nearly a year and a half, I finally uploaded something of my own. Yay!


After seeing some of the photos Ursula Vernon loaded recently, I realized "Hey! I can do that!"

So I did. I got my camera and wandered around the yard, taking pictures of anything I thought was nifty. It was surprisingly relaxing, as I had nothing on my mind other than exploration.

I don't think my camera is exactly designed for super-close-ups, and I don't actually know what all the settings do, but I think it turned out pretty good. When the wind was right (IE: not blowing stuff around) and my hand was steady, the pictures came out clear.
